Job summary

American Tire Depot in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Part-Time Tire Technician to join a fast-paced automotive team with flexible hours and opportunities for growth.

You will mount, balance, rotate tires, perform oil changes, and assist with basic maintenance while keeping the shop clean and safe. No prior experience required, but reliability and willingness to learn are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, tire, or lube work preferred but not required.
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
• Perform oil changes and replace filters
• Test and replace batteries
• Inspect vehicles and document findings
• Assist with TPMS sensor service
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards
• Support teammates in delivering fast, accurate customer service
• Learn additional mechanical skills over time

What You'll Do

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
• Perform oil changes and replace filters
• Test and replace batteries
• Inspect vehicles and document findings
• Assist with TPMS sensor service
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards

• Learn additional mechanical skills like brakes, alignments, and suspension work over time
