Canvas Health in Woodbury, MN is seeking a Therapist or Clinical Trainee for a school-based program. The role is part-time (0.60 FTE) and primarily daytime at school, with some evenings possible.

Responsibilities include assessments, therapy, and collaboration with school staff to support students and families. The opportunity supports licensure supervision and requires either a Licensed Therapist or a current Minnesota trainee pursuing LICSW/LMFT/LP/LPCC credentials.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
• Current and valid Minnesota state licensure (LICSW/ LMFT/ LP/ LPCC) or pursuing licensure as trainee.
• Eligibility to become credentialed with insurance entities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to at-risk children and families in school settings.
• Deliver diagnostic assessments and therapy to eligible students and families.
• Consult and team with school psychologists, social workers, teachers, and other providers.
• Offer case consultation and training on mental health issues within the school.

Salary Range

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Clinical Trainee Base Salary $60,004.41 - $69,478.79 annually - will be pro-rated based on .60 FTE

Fully Licensed Base Salary $68,755.06 - $79,611.12 annually - will be prorated based on .60 FTE

Position Summary

This position provides clinical services to those children and families who are considered to be at risk in a school setting. This position requires services to be delivered primarily at school during the school day but at times in home or in the community. It emphasizes a high level of skill and knowledge about families, individuals and family assessment, family skills, and education services in the school. The position provides diagnostic assessments and therapy services to eligible students and their families. It also provides consultation/teaming with school psychologists, school social workers, teachers, and multiple mental health providers. This position provides case consultation, training on mental health issues and assistance to school.

Schedule

This position is Part-time, .60 FTE. Work will primarily be daytime hours 3 days a week at the school. Some occasional evening hours may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Fully Licensed Therapist

• Possess a master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related Human Services field.
• Possess a current and valid LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC Minnesota State Licensure
• Eligibility to become a credentialed provider with insurance entities.

Clinical Trainee

• Possess a master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling
• Possess a current and valid OR currently pursuing a Minnesota State Licensure (e.g. LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record systems.
• Experience in residential and/or day treatment
