Job summary

Rosecrance Urbana Office is seeking a part-time behavioral health professional to provide individual, family, and group counseling in a safe, therapeutic setting onsite in Urbana. You will document treatment plans, coordinate with case management and staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field, Illinois licensure (LSW/LPC/AMFT), and strong proficiency with electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field.
• Licensed in Illinois as an LSW, LPC, or AMFT.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Ability to navigate and document in electronic health records.
• Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames.
• Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance.

Responsibilities

• Work hours prescribed by and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and/or family members.
• Complete client psychosocial and individualized treatment plan within required time frame.
• Identify client clinical and case management needs and work to address those needs.
• Educate client and client support members regarding all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
• Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients.
• Ensure that documentation in client service record is maintained consistent with expectations defined by licensing, accreditation, and funding requirements.
• Maintain communications with all staff (e.g. admissions, case management and discharge plans).
• Present workshops, lectures and training to clients, families, and staff and community groups.
• Serve as a member of the team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
• Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law.
• Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
• Serve as a member of the Clinical Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
• Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency.
• Assume other related responsibilities as delegated by management.

Position Purpose

Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of addictions and mental health treatment services to patients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.

Schedule

PT – 24 hours a week.

• Hours: Flexible times – Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Also open to Saturday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
