Job summary

Point Park University’s Pittsburgh Playhouse invites a Multimedia Coordinator (Part-time) to join our Marketing & Communications team. You will craft visual stories across social, digital, print, and live content, partnering with students and faculty to highlight performances and community events.

The role requires hands-on production, photography, video editing, and design work with a fast-paced theatrical environment.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Public Relations, Film, Photography, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
2–4 years of experience creating digital media, social media content, photography, and video production.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software and graphic design tools.
Experience in photography and videography, including lighting and editing.
Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and podcasts.

Responsibilities

Create digital graphics for social media, email campaigns, websites, and promotional materials.
Capture photography and video during performances, rehearsals, events, and activities.
Plan, storyboard, shoot, edit, and produce compelling video content.
Manage Pittsburgh Playhouse’s social media accounts and content calendar, engaging followers and advising on strategies.
Edit photos and videos into promotional content such as reels, stories, and behind-the-scenes features.
Develop content that increases audience engagement, ticket sales, and brand awareness.
