A Maryland educational institution seeks a Theatre - Adjunct Faculty member to teach Introduction to Theater, Stage Acting, and other courses. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Theater or related field and possess teaching experience. The role includes developing syllabi and monitoring student progress. This part-time position offers a pay of $1,085 per credit hour, with opportunities for professional development and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Theater; or Master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate credits in Theater.
• Two years teaching experience, preferably at the college level.
• Experience using classroom technology and learning management systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Fulfills department and college responsibilities as directed.
• Develops course syllabi in accordance with program and College policies.
• Monitors student performance and provides timely feedback.

Connaissances

Experienced in teaching

Proficient computer skills

Knowledge of Microsoft applications
