Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Theatre, Drama, or Performing Arts, OR graduate degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Theatre, Drama, or Performing Arts
• Prior college teaching experience is preferred
• The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mastery of their discipline and commitment to Broward College's mission
• Employ teaching methods using appropriate technology across modalities
• Facilitate diverse learners with responsive pedagogical techniques
• Examine and adapt instructional practices to engage and support students
• Engage in course preparation, syllabus development, and office hours
• Provide timely feedback to students and respond to emails
• Adhere to deadlines for grades, enrollment verification, and textbooks
• Participate in service to the college and community
