Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado is seeking an Associate I, Textiles Production to join our retail operations team in Aurora. The role focuses on sorting, hanging, pricing, and tagging donated textiles, following quality standards to determine items for the sales floor; occasional customer contact and responsive service are expected.

This part-time position requires availability for evenings and weekends, with a daily production quota. Knowledge of clothing brands is a plus, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
• Ability to use basic technologies to follow company standards.
• Ability to use a dolly and pallet jack as required.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must communicate effectively with customers, managers, staff and peers.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated textiles by season, color, and quality of product.
• Inspect textiles to ensure saleable condition (buttons, zippers, etc.).
• Hang, size, price, tag, and prepare textile items for the sales floor.
• Price according to Goodwill standards and research value if needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and customers.
• Follow all retail center policies and safety procedures.
• Cross-train in other departments when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area for safety and efficiency.

Pay: $16.45 Hr.Your pay could increase based on the amount of textiles you can produce each hour.

Part-time positions are available. Please tell us about your availability! For this position, availability to work evenings and weekends is a must!

We are looking for an optimistic, fast paced candidate with drive to meet daily goals and be part of a strong team! This position processes donated clothing into inventory to be sold on the sales floor. Knowledge of clothing brands and quality is a plus! This position has minimum production quotas each day.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Associate I, Textiles Production will primarily work in a production environment sorting, hanging, pricing, and tagging donated textiles while following company quality standards and guidelines to determine which items will be placed on the sales floor to be sold. The Associate may occasionally be in contact with customers and expected to be responsive in communication and provide excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Sort donated textiles by season, color, and quality of product.
• Inspect textiles to ensure the product is in good saleable condition (buttons, zippers, etc.)
• Hang, size and price, tag, and prepare textile items to be sold by loading them on Z-racks.
• Make decisions to price according to Goodwill standards of quality and value of the product which may include researching the item's value on the internet or utilizing other company tools and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to fellow staff and customers; answer product questions as needed.
• Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety processes and procedures to help provide a safe working environment for employees and customers.
• Cross-train as needed in other departments and areas when required.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to provide a safe and efficient workflow for employees and customers.
• Job duties may extend beyond the tasks listed and may include additional responsibilities as required.

Education:
