Job summary

The Naperville Park District is seeking a part-time Tennis Assistant Instructor to support the Lead or Certified Tennis Instructor in teaching tennis to participants and running on-site activities. The role requires experience with children and tennis, reliable communication, and ability to follow lesson plans while maintaining equipment and upholding safety standards.

You will supervise participants, assist with demonstrations, and help create a welcoming, safe environment for all ages.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Tennis experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program participants.
• Implement tennis activities and provide instruction as directed.
• Teach participants in the absence of the lead instructor per lesson plan.
• Maintain park district equipment and facilities in a clean, orderly manner.
• Communicate with participants, parents and staff regarding questions or concerns.
• Contribute to first aid procedures as necessary.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and leadership.
• Follow district safety and administrative policies.
