Job summary

Scheels is hiring a Part-Time Temporary Store Support role in Tulsa, OK. You will unload freight, restock, assist customers, and follow merch guidelines to keep the shop organized during a 90-day program starting in October.

The position is on-site, with 10–27 hours per week, and $16 per hour. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and up to a few months of related experience. Safety and teamwork are emphasized everywhere.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Unload freight and tag/fold/price merchandise for the floor or back stock.
  • Restock merchandise and bring products to the floor for display.
  • Assist customers and sales associates with loading purchased products.
  • Follow shop guidelines and merch guides to prioritize shop needs.
  • Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers on shop moves and mannequin placement.
  • Maintain an orderly store and back stock areas with cleaning and organization.
  • Work independently and with the team; adapt to varied schedules including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Unload product from freight. Tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise to be put out on the sales
    floor or in back stock
  • Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring products to the floor for display
  • Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased products
  • Follow the Line Leader checklist, walk-through notes, and merch guides to prioritize the needs of
    the shops
  • Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and display teams on shop moves and mannequin
    placement
  • Maintain an orderly appearance with general cleaning and organization around the store and
    back stock areas
  • Ability to be organized, multitask, have problem-solving skills, and maintain all aspects of a
    merchandiser role
  • Ability to work independently and with the team
  • Exercise judgment and tact, and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Willing to do other tasks as assigned by the leadership team and Merchandising Lead
  • Work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation for this position starts at $16 per hour.

This is a temporary position. This position will end after 90 days of employment, with a start date in the beginning of October working through the beginning of January.

Associates will be working an average of 10-27 hours weekly.

Education & Experience

An ideal candidate will have a minimum of a High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED); one to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of both.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation

Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
