Job summary

Hopewell Federal Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller to assist members with routine financial transactions including cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, and account services.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, six months of related experience, and Ohio State Notary Public certification. You will balance cash drawers, handle inquiries, and support other tellers while ensuring compliance with BSA/OFAC policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED, plus six months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of Teller policies and procedures and basic understanding of Credit Union operations.
• Experience: On-the-job training typically 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and process transactions including cash disbursement, deposits, and account services.
• Respond to member inquiries regarding account status, discrepancies, and products/services.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Assist other tellers as needed and participate in team meetings.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services to help members meet financial goals.
