Job summary

Machias Savings Bank is seeking a Part-Time Financial Services Specialist (Teller) to join our Branch team in Portland. You’ll help customers with day-to-day banking needs while building relationships and connecting them with products and services that support their financial goals. The anticipated hours are 10 a.m.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Previous customer service or retail experience and a passion for helping others.
A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly and solve problems effectively.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service by processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
Build new relationships and deepen existing customer relationships through meaningful conversations and product referrals.
Support branch growth by identifying customer needs and referring mortgage, home equity, and other banking opportunities to the appropriate team members.
