Job summary

Security Service Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Consultant I in Utah. You will serve members as a teller/banker, delivering a friendly, knowledgeable first impression and helping them reach financial goals.

You will promote checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and insurance services while maintaining confidentiality and compliance. A two-year background in retail banking and strong communication are expected, with flexibility to work during normal hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of retail banking, cash handling, customer service and sales, or comparable experience.
• Customer-centric attitude focused on delivering great experiences to our members while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a goal-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in computer software including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to maintain a flexible work schedule during normal business hours—never work another Sunday!
• May be required to travel to and from other branch locations for work and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first impression of the credit union and build long-lasting relationships with members.
• Promote checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and insurance services meeting members' needs.
• Cross-sell products and educate members on digital services to meet sales goals.
• Provide universal service and be cross-trained in teller and banker functions for growth.
