Job summary

NIVA Health is seeking an experienced General Practice/Wound Care Physician (MD/DO) for a flexible, 100% telemedicine opportunity. You will work remotely 1–2 days per week, selecting days based on availability and patient needs.

Applicants must reside in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia and maintain an active medical license. The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and clinical leadership in a virtual setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active license in good standing.
• Experience in general practice or wound care is preferred.
• Willing to work 1–2 days per week remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemedicine physician services as scheduled.
• Provide general practice and wound care clinical consultation and physician oversight.
• Serve as supervising/collaborating physician for designated advanced practice providers.
• Review and sign clinical documentation when required.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to NPs, PAs, and the care team.
• Support clinical quality and adherence to NIVA Health standards.
• Collaborate with leadership regarding patient care and provider needs.
• Maintain all licenses and credentials required for the services performed.
