Job summary

Keystone Community Services is seeking a Part Time Teen Tutor Assistant Coordinator in St Paul, MN. The role supports the Teen Tutor Program Coordinator by planning activities, supervising Teen Tutors, and handling administrative tasks.

The position runs Monday through Friday 3:00pm–7:00pm during the school year and requires post-secondary education with experience in youth programs, plus a valid MN driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Completion of one year of post-secondary education with classwork in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related fields.
• Experience working in youth programs or in school as a classroom aide, tutor, or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of child/youth development and ground care of children and youth.
• Cross cultural practice and communication experience.

Responsibilities

• Build healthy relationships with program participants and Teen Tutor employees.
• Maintain a safe and respectful program environment.
• Plan and implement tutoring, academic, enrichment, and recreational activities with the Program Coordinator.
• Provide daily guidance, coaching, and feedback to Teen Tutors; model professionalism and teamwork.
• Assist with data tracking and youth assessments.
• Occasional transporting of youth and staff during events away from work location.
• Honor time commitments and assist with staff trainings and meetings.
