Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to service tires for customers, including commercial vehicles, in a fast-paced shop and roadside setting.

You will maintain the store and interact with drivers, with training provided if you have no prior experience. The role offers growth opportunities, safety-focused work, and a path to professional credentials, with benefits starting after a brief period.

Qualifications

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal, and replacement for tires in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility and housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
