Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to work in a fast-paced shop and roadside service environment. You will interact with customers and drivers nationwide, keeping work areas clean and safe. No experience is required; Love's will teach you.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds.
• Able to work rotating day/night shifts.
• Commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and replacement for customers.
• Perform tire service for shop and roadside calls.
• Maintain store facility and general housekeeping.
• Move and lift heavy tires (75+ pounds) in various conditions.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.


• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.


• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.


• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.


• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.


• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
