Part-Time Pharmacy Technician - Willing to Train

Part-Time | Approximately 12-18 hours/week

$17-$23/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Asheville Mountain Pharmacy is a locally owned independent community pharmacy looking for a friendly, dependable and motivated Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

Pharmacy experience is welcome, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person.

For us, attitude, reliability, willingness to learn and how you treat our patients matter more than the number of years you've worked in a pharmacy. We're looking for someone who wants to become a dependable part of a small, patient-focused team.

What you'll do

• Assist with prescription processing, data entry and filling prescriptions

• Pitch in wherever needed to keep the pharmacy running smoothly

Experience

No pharmacy experience is required. We will train the right candidate.

Previous community/retail pharmacy experience, CPhT certification, vaccination training and PioneerRx experience are all welcomed, but they are not requirements.

Schedule

Approximately 12-18 hours per week.

Primary hours will help provide afternoon/closing coverage, with opportunities for some additional overlap on busier days, particularly Mondays and Thursdays. Additional hours may also be available when other team members are on vacation or PTO.

Pay

$17-$23 per hour, depending on experience, certification and qualifications.
