Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in Gurnee, IL to visit major retail stores within an assigned territory. You will ensure proper placement and maintenance of promotional displays, submit daily surveys, and assist with troubleshooting as needed.

The role offers up to 20 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with no weekend or evening shifts. W2 employment, paid training, and travel reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL or retail experience is desirable.
• Ability to handle all levels of merchandising within territory.
• Follow complex instructions and display diagrams with accuracy.
• Work independently and with a small team when needed.
• Need internet access, a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled device; laptop/desktop is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Store visits: complete projects at major retail stores within assigned territory.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting of displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and photos after each visit.
• Schedule up to 20 hours per week; Mon–Thu; 8:00am–6:00pm; no weekends/evenings.
• Travel opportunities may increase hours or cover larger regions.
