Job summary

Caring Transitions of Vacaville is seeking reliable and motivated Team Members to assist with downsizing, relocations, estate clean-outs, and online auction projects. Each day and project are different, and your work makes a real difference in the lives of seniors and their families.

You’ll help with online auctions, packing and moving, and clean-out services, with shifts typically from 10AM to 3PM and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and pride in presenting items well.
• Physically able to lift 30+ lbs and work in warm conditions.
• Flexible and dependable with strong multitasking.
• Experience or interest in antiques, collectibles, and resale.
• Comfortable with smartphones, apps, and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Online Auction & Estate Sale Services: organize, sort, lot, label items; photograph items; research and describe items; set up and assist with on-site auctions; manage pickup days.
• Packing & Moving Services: pack and label households; follow special packing instructions; document damages; clean up packing materials.
• Clean-Out Services: sort contents into sell/donate/trash; assist with donation drop-offs or pickups.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll help with:

Online Auction & Estate Sale Services

• Organize, sort, lot, and label auction items
• Take appealing, well-lit photos using our CTBids mobile app
• Research and describe items (especially collectibles, antiques, etc.)
• Set up, assist with, and clean up after on-site auctions
• Help ensure safe, organized pickup days for buyers

Packing & Moving Services

• Carefully pack, label, and organize household goods
• Follow all special packing instructions and document any damage
• Clean up and haul away packing materials or trash

Clean-Out Services

• Sort property contents into sell, donation, or trash
• Help with donation drop-offs or pickups

What We’re Looking For:
