Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and NC licensure in the required area(s).
• Experience with classroom instruction and student development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides learning experiences and teaches the standard course of study prescribed by district curriculum.
• Develops instructional material suitable for verbal and visual instruction of a wide range of learners.
• Provides individual and group instruction to meet student needs and facilitate transition to school.
• Maintains standards of student conduct to enable active participation in activities.
• Evaluates student progress and maintains records in accordance with district policies.
