Position Summary

These positions support programs designed to support non‑collegiate educational programs for the Fisher Early Learning Center. Positions can include:

  • Teaching assistants
  • Substitute teachers
  • Early Childhood teachers (ages infant through PreK)

These are non‑benefited, part‑time positions not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Essential Functions
  • Develop curriculum.
  • Teach curriculum.
  • Support teaching endeavors related to area of specificity.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills to include verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain all required certifications and licensures as they pertain to the role.
  • Skills associated with early childhood learning, K-12 certified professionals and some post‑secondary education
Required Qualifications
  • Professional training or education related to area of teaching specificity.
  • PDIS Credential level 2 or higher
  • 1-2 years experience working with children ages 0-6 years old

Work Schedule

Part‑time, hours will vary, depending on position.

Hourly Range

The hourly range for this position is $18.81 - $22.00.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting.
