Student Teaching Supervisor (Part‑time) – Elementary & Secondary

Job Overview

Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Behavioral Sciences and Education is seeking certified educators to serve as part‑time Student Teaching Supervisors of elementary and secondary pre‑service teachers in area schools.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience and minimum of a Master’s degree or higher in Education or hold an Instructional II certificate or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Employment will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal History Background Check.
• Employment will require operation of a motor vehicle as part of the job duties; a valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
