Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating instructional activities; prepare materials.
• Monitor safety and well-being of students; encourage independence.
• Maintain classroom discipline and provide one-on-one support as needed.
• Maintain records of student progress and prepare materials.
• Perform clerical duties and operate classroom audiovisual equipment.
• Participate in staff development workshops.
• May serve as bus driver when required.
• Perform related tasks as directed by supervisor.
