Job summary

Minnesota Women’s Care is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterility, assisting the surgeon, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates should have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent, with knowledge of sterile technique and instrumentation. CST certification is preferred; hospital OR or outpatient experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure instruments and equipment are ready.
• Set up and maintain the sterile field and scrub as needed.
• Assist the surgeon during procedures and anticipate instrument needs.
• Perform surgical counts and handle specimens properly.
• Maintain sterile technique and report equipment malfunctions.
