Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to support the store management team in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales. You will help execute store operations, participate in merchandising and maintain a positive, energetic work environment for teammates and customers alike.

Responsibilities include leading by example, handling POS transactions on shifts, and stepping in for the Store Manager when needed. Flexible availability and a drive to win are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in apparel retail (preferred).
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
• May require occasional travel to other store locations (if needed).
• Able to bend, lift and move products up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team to achieve sales results and grow the business.
• Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty using company tools.
• Be a role model for customer experience and store standards in merchandising and operations.
• Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and supervise in the Store Manager's absence.
