Job summary

Kokua Education in Irving, TX is seeking substitute teachers for the 2026-27 school year. Set your own schedule and earn up to $135/day while making a real difference in your community.

You can start interviews now; positions cover K-12 schools across the Dallas area with fast hiring and a clear path to full-time roles. Work up to 5 days/week, with duties including supervision, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year working with kids in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.).
• Completed 48+ college credit hours.
• Feel confident managing a classroom of students.
• Willing to step in where needed - lunch/recess supervision, hallway monitoring, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season.
• Pass state & federal background checks (costs reimbursed after 10 assignments).
