Qualifications

• Basic experience in cleaning, floor and restroom care, and equipment maintenance preferred.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and work in various locations/conditions.

Responsibilities

• Accept direction from Head Custodian, Supervisor, or Administrator.
• Perform custodial and preventative maintenance duties in all areas/locations of the District.
• Clean woodwork, walls, furniture, and windows with approved products.
• Mop, scrub, strip, wax, shampoo, vacuum, and spot-clean carpeting and floors.
• Climb stairs and ladders as needed; handle physical tasks for extended periods.
• Maintain supplies and inventory; restock as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and handle cleaning chemicals with proper protection.
• Move furnishings to support meetings and events.
• Operate small equipment and tools carefully; respond to safety concerns.
