Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Student Nurse Technician (SNT) for the Orthopedic Medical Surgical unit (4/5 Lied). Part-time, Day Shift, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 0.3–0.6 FTE, designed for nursing students to gain hands-on clinical experience under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years old and able to commit to 12 hours per week.
• Actively enrolled in an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Completed at least one Pharmacology course and two semesters of Medical-Surgical theory/clinical courses.
• Active on the CNA registry in Nebraska or capable within 30 days of hire.
• Active on the Medication Aide registry in Nebraska or capable within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills.
• BLS certification from an AHA-endorsed program within 30 days of hire.
