Job summary

Carter’s is seeking a Part Time Sales Manager in Illinois to lead a welcoming team that delivers exceptional service to growing families. You will be the brand ambassador for Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh, SkipHop, and Little Planet, coaching staff, driving sales, and maintaining a safe, inclusive store environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, omni-channel service, and actionable guidance to improve store performance while fostering development through Carter’s training programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Stand or walk for extended periods and climb ladders as needed.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Become a product and brand expert across Carter’s brands to help families from preemie to size 14.
• Welcome customers and explain product features and benefits.
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success with omni-channel service and lead assigned business focus areas.
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities and drive customer-focused results.
• Use customer feedback to identify opportunities and actions to drive results.
• Support store team with asset protection and operational controls.
