Job summary

Claire’s is seeking a part-time, non-exempt Sales Associate in Hoover, AL to deliver engaging customer experiences, upsell accessories, and promote promotions. Piercing procedures and aftercare will be taught in-house, with emphasis on sterile practices and safety.

You will keep the store visually appealing, manage inventory, process transactions via POS, and collaborate with the team to hit sales goals while embodying Claire’s values and trends.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience with some leadership or sales-driving responsibility is preferred.
• Completed some high school is acceptable.
• Strong math ability for inventory, sales analysis and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by delivering exceptional customer experiences and promoting promos.
• Perform piercing procedures after comprehensive training and maintain a sterile environment.
• Maintain attractive store displays and organized inventory for easy shopping.
• Collaborate with store team and management to motivate staff and share sales tips.
• Represent the brand and keep up with fashion trends to help customers choose products.
