Job summary

Casey’s in Cedar Rapids is seeking a reliable Store Inventory Control Specialist for daytime hours and a 20-30 hour workweek. You will join our Inventory team, traveling to Casey’s locations in the Cedar Rapids area to perform cycle counts and keep stock accurate.

The role includes paid travel time and a store discount during shifts. A valid driver’s license and basic inventory knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and pre-employment drug screen required.
• Ability to frequently lift 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Work is performed in a store setting, including in freezers and coolers.
• Requires standing and walking in store environment for long periods and involves repeated bending, squatting, stooping and kneeling.
• Travel is required daily and overnight travel is required 25% - 90% of the time.
• General bookkeeping and basic inventory concept knowledge.
• Solid attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform store inventory at multiple Cedar Rapids locations.
• Travel between Casey's stores using company vehicle.
• Return to the designated store after completing inventory and track time.
• Support inventory accuracy through routine checks and documentation.

How The Day Works

Team members meet at a designated Casey’s store at 9am. From there, the team travels together in a company vehicle to other Casey’s locations in the Cedar Rapids area to complete a physical inventory. Team members return, typically before 3pm, to the designated Casey’s store after the inventory is completed.

And here’s the best part: you’re paid from the moment you leave the designated store until you return at the end of the day. That means all travel and work time are covered!

Compensation And Benefits

• Store Inventory Control Specialist starting pay at $18 - $21 per hour depending on experience
