Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a part-time janitorial teammate for the Carlyle Avenue store. The role includes cleaning floors, windows, break rooms and restrooms, handling trash, and operating scrubbing/buffing equipment. Training is provided at the store level, with emphasis on safety and sanitation.

Applicants should be able to attend shifts reliably, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform duties with care for customers and staff. This position offers benefits appropriate to part-time employment.

Qualifications

• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Bending, stooping, handling cleaning chemicals are required.
• Training will be provided at store level.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Maintain floors by scrubbing with pads and chemicals, stripping, polishing and re-glossing.
• Operate scrub and buffing machines.
• Empty trash inside and outside the store.
• Clean windows, break rooms, restrooms, and manager’s office.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Prepare linens for laundry pickup.
• Change light bulbs.
• Other duties as assigned by store management.
