Job summary

Save A Lot - Ascend Grocery LLC is seeking a part-time store clerk to perform cashiering, stocking, cleaning and monitor perishables while delivering excellent customer service. The role reports to store leadership and contributes to maintaining a clean, well-organized store environment.

The position emphasizes efficient checkout, accuracy with cash handling, and friendly customer interactions in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Proven, efficient retail sales experience; experience in dry grocery, perishable, meat, general grocery, cash management and excellent customer service preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates a cash register and performs checkout procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Follows checkout and cash handling policies.
• Maintains stock and merchandising in Grocery, Frozen, Dairy and Perishable sections.
• Stocks products on platforms, shelving, peg hooks, baskets or refrigerated cases as needed.
• Handles power and non-powered equipment to move stock after training.
