Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you'll operate registers or other machinery, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. Start a job that offers something new each day.

Position Details:

• Type: Part-Time
• Hours: Less than 30 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $18.00; Year 3 - $18.50; Year 4 - $18.50; Year 5 - $19.50

Responsibilities:

Must perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to management
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, perform cleaning duties, and merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Report inventory issues and provide feedback to management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to reduce losses

Stocker Specific Duties:

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure freshness
• Follow merchandising planograms for displays
• Organize inventory and handle boxes
• Operate machinery safely

Physical Demands:

• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk
• Stockers must lift up to 45 pounds and handle inventory from receiving to shelving

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older
• Provide courteous customer service
• Perform cleaning to company standards
• Understand and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Effective time management
• Knowledge of company products/services

• Cashier: Operate cash register accurately and comply with alcohol sales regulations
• Stocker: Operate equipment safely, including hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers; morning availability required

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent knowledge through education and experience
