Join our team as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker and contribute to providing an exceptional shopping experience in a collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include operating registers or machinery, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and assisting customers. Enjoy a dynamic role with new challenges each day.

Position Details

• Type: Part-Time
• Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $18.00 | Year 3 - $18.50 | Year 5 - $19.50

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with leadership
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Process customer transactions, perform cleaning, stock shelves, and organize displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness
• Follow merchandising planograms for attractive displays
• Organize inventory and handle packaging materials
• Operate machinery safely following all safety protocols

Physical Demands

• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and place products at various heights

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Perform cleaning duties to company standards
• Interpret and apply policies effectively

Specific Skills:

• Cashier: Operate cash register accurately and efficiently; comply with alcohol sale regulations
• Stocker: Operate equipment safely, including hand jacks and balers; morning availability for early shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred but not required; equivalent knowledge through education and experience acceptable
