Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you'll operate registers or other machinery, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. Start a job that offers new challenges each day.

Position Details:

• Type: Part-Time
• Hours: Less than 30 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $18.50/hour
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $19.00, Year 3 - $19.50, Year 4 - $19.50, Year 5 - $20.50

Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to leaders
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Process customer purchases, clean, stock shelves, and display merchandise neatly
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Report product issues, inventory losses, and errors to management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products for freshness
• Follow merchandising planograms for attractive displays
• Organize inventory, break down boxes
• Operate machinery safely following all safety procedures

Physical Demands:

• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk
• Stockers must lift up to 45 pounds and place products at various heights

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service
• Perform cleaning duties to company standards
• Understand and apply company policies
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Effective time management
• Knowledge of company products and services

• Cashier: Operate cash register efficiently and accurately; comply with laws regarding alcohol sales
• Stocker: Operate equipment safely, including hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers; morning availability required, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent knowledge through education and experience
