Job summary

Nexplore Fredericksburg, Virginia, is seeking a part-time STEAM Instructor to deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness classes to PreK‑12 students. Training, lesson plans, and materials are provided.

Classes run on Thursdays from 4:00–5:00 PM, with compensation at $60 per hour per class. Candidates should have an AA degree or higher, teaching experience, and be willing to complete mandatory training.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher required.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Follow provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach.
• Deliver standard‑aligned instruction and manage materials.
• Engage in professional, responsive communication with the Program Success Manager and site staff.
• Deliver engaging instruction from Nexplore’s collection of 80+ programs.
• Engage families and empower each child to participate in Nexplore programs.
