Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services seeks part-time Event Security personnel to help safeguard guests and venues at major events in New Orleans. Responsibilities include bag checks, access control, and maintaining a positive guest experience throughout entry and venue areas.

The role requires 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, background checks, and the ability to work overtime. Perks include weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career growth in a dynamic event environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving a company vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry into each venue, may collect/scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic.
• Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by watching for security breaches at vital checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to potential crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Demonstrate understanding of policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events.
• Provide a positive experience for guests at entrances, aisles, concourses or other locations.
• Provide guests with directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
