The Hutto Family YMCA is seeking a part-time Sports Site Coordinator to oversee sports team practices and organize and run sports games as scheduled. The coordinator will supervise staff and referees during activities and must know the rules for soccer, volleyball, basketball, football and baseball.

Hours include weekday evenings and Saturdays. The YMCA offers a $260 bonus for new staff, with a strong emphasis on safety and community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 college credits in related fields preferred.
• Nationally certified by a recognized agency.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification, or willing to obtain within 30 days.
• Pass reference checks and background screening.

Responsabilités

• Oversee sports team practices and organize and run games as scheduled.
• Supervise staff and referees during practices and games.
• Maintain knowledge of rules for soccer, volleyball, basketball, football and baseball.
• Set up facilities and ensure game sites are safe and clean.
• Recruit, train and recognize volunteers; support their development.
• Open/close facilities as applicable.
• Address on-site problems and report them per policy.
