Job summary

AdventHealth in Dade City, Florida seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to oversee therapy services, support clinical development, and adapt treatment plans to meet patient needs.

You will work with therapy aides, manage caseloads within payer guidelines, document accurately, and engage in community outreach. Requires Master's in Speech/Language Pathology and SLP licensure; BLS CPR; strong communication and EMR skills.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows; EMR experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic formats.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the care provided by therapy aides, according to regulations and standards.
• Maintains productivity standards and adjusts work hours to meet patient needs.
• Instructs and develops staff through clinical instruction and development.
• Adapts to changes in patient census and assists in other centers as needed.
• Ensures employee and patient safety in daily activities.
• Supports marketing and community education through events and lectures.
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Creates, implements, and updates individualized treatment plans.
