Mount Prospect Academy invites a dedicated Special Education Teacher / Academic Case Manager to join Ashuelot Valley Academy in Keene, NH. This part-time role focuses on grades 5–12 within a non-traditional, competency-based program emphasizing individualized instruction, therapeutic support, and academic success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• NH Special Education Teaching Certification or enrollment in an approved certification program
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Provide special education services and academic support
• Create engaging, project‑based learning opportunities
• Monitor student progress and provide quarterly updates
• Facilitate classroom instruction and manage student behavior supports
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation
• Collaborate with academic, clinical, and residential teams
• Supervise and support teaching assistants
• Assist with curriculum development and school programming
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Education
