Qualifications

• Assist students with boarding and exiting safely.
• Operate wheelchair lift safely and efficiently.
• Secure wheelchairs and restraints before bus motion.
• Assist with fastening/adjusting safety belts per transportation plan.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with boarding/exiting in a safe, respectful manner.
• Safely operate wheelchair lift to load/unload students using mobility devices.
• Secure wheelchairs, restraints, and equipment prior to bus motion.
• Assist students with safety belts and restraints as per their plan.
• Provide physical assistance during loading, unloading and emergencies.
