Job summary

Keene State College seeks three part-time adjunct instructors for the Sustainable Product Design & Innovation program. Instructors may teach across product design, CAD, materials, prototyping, and life-cycle topics, depending on expertise and program needs.

Duties include preparing and delivering hands-on instruction, assessing student learning, and coordinating with SPDI faculty to ensure continuity. Lectures may occur in studio, lab, and project-based formats on campus in Keene, NH.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in product design, industrial design, mechanical or related field, or a bachelor's degree with substantial experience.
• Demonstrated competence to support undergraduate learning in SPDI areas.
• Applied knowledge in product design, CAD, materials, manufacturing, prototyping, DfMA, sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned SPDI course(s) with applied, hands‑on instruction aligned to outcomes.
• Organize materials, learning activities, and manage studio/lab/project work.
• Coordinate with SPDI faculty to ensure continuity and timely assessment.
