Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related field preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish language courses to students at assigned grade or proficiency levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Encourage student participation through interactive activities and conversation practice.
• Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and classroom participation.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Communicate with parents, staff, and administration regarding student progress when needed.
• Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance language learning.
• Foster positive relationships with students while modeling Christian values and respectful behavior.
• Support the school's Catholic mission and participate in school activities as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding students and school matters.
