Job summary

California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer to teach SPAN 101: Beginning Spanish I for Fall 2026 in person. The position is in the Modern Language Studies Department with a focus on developing communicative skills and grammar, including mandatory language lab work.

The candidate should hold a master’s degree in Spanish; ABD in the language of instruction is preferred. Preference given to those with college/university teaching experience and intercultural competence.

• Incorporate language laboratory practice as a mandatory component of the course.
