Job summary

Fastenal Co. is hiring for a Part-time Sortation position at our Atlanta distribution center (6445 Fulton Industrial Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30336).

You will support movement of products, label items with RF scanners, and prepare outgoing orders for shipping. The role is entry-level with a 4:00pm–10:00pm shift Tuesday through Saturday, up to 28 hours per week, with potential schedule flexibility after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Proficient communication and computer skills required.
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and be part of a team.
• Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate RF scanners and printers to label product.
• Organize shipments into correct containers.
• Pack product in layers for stability and space efficiency.
• Identify fragile items and handle accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Follow health, safety and sustainability rules.
