Job summary

Harper College seeks a Part-time Technical and Solar Sales Instructor to deliver curriculum in solar energy systems, technical sales, and related regulations. Classes may be day, evening, or weekend based on enrollment.

You will use Blackboard and PowerPoint, record attendance, and submit grades as required per semester. The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, with NABCEP certification preferred, and 2+ years teaching adults.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Priority for degrees/certifications in business, sales, solar, or related field.
• A NABCEP certification is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience teaching adults.

Responsibilities

• Follow the approved course syllabus and meet course objectives.
• Instruct labs and effectively utilize Blackboard, PowerPoint, and assessments.
• Maintain and update curriculum, quizzes, and textbooks as needed.
• Record attendance and submit midterm/final grades per semester.
