Job summary

TestPros seeks an experienced Software Validation & Data Security Engineer for a part-time, short-term 1099 consulting engagement in a regulated environment. You will perform hands-on validation, functional testing, and data integrity checks, interacting with security/compliance leads to document evidence and deliver final validation artifacts.

Ideal candidates will have FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and HIPAA knowledge, experience with CSV/JSON/database data, and proficiency in Python/SQL for data

Qualifications

• Perform hands-on software validation and verification testing.
• Review IQ/OQ/PQ documentation.
• Develop and execute validation plans, test cases, protocols, and test scripts.
• Conduct functional testing to ensure features operate as intended.
• Validate data integrity, audit trails, access controls, authentication, and security.
• Support validation against FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and HIPAA.
• Analyze CSV/JSON/database datasets for validation.
• Use Python/SQL for data analysis and testing.
• Document testing methodology, evidence, and exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Document test results, findings, and supporting evidence.
• Identify exceptions and remediation/retesting requirements.
• Assist with preparation of final validation reports and docs.
• Participate in client technical discussions and clarify requirements.
• Develop repeatable validation/testing methodologies.
