Moorpark College, one of three colleges in the Ventura County Community College District, is seeking an Assistant Softball Coach (Part-Time Pool) for Spring 2027. The role supports the Head Coach with recruitment, game scheduling, program development, and public relations within a student-centered athletics program.

The pool will fill a half-time assignment; more details will follow in the selection process. The district emphasizes leadership, integrity, and community engagement in athletics.

• Commitment to student-athlete development and academic success.
• Minimum qualifications align with CCCD guidelines for coaching positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, mentoring, and coaching to student athletes.
• Assist with recruiting and scheduling competitions and events.
• Ensure safety and document injuries and reports as required.
• Support academic progress and student-athlete success through mentorship.
• Assist with developing team budget and equipment needs.
• Promote program visibility and community engagement.
