Job summary

Cameron University is seeking qualified applicants to teach History, Political Science, Criminal Justice and Sociology on a part-time adjunct basis. Courses may be offered in Lawton, Duncan, online and via Zoom, with a preference for in-person teaching in Lawton or Duncan, or synchronous Zoom.

This pool may be drawn upon as openings arise during the academic year. Adjuncts may teach up to 9 credit hours per semester and may have other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 18 graduate hours completed in History, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or Sociology.
• Master's degree or Doctorate in History, Political Science, Sociology, or Criminal Justice preferred.
• Experience teaching at the college level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in History, Political Science, Criminal Justice, and Sociology.
• Maximum of 9 credit hours per semester.
• Other duties as assigned.
